NAMI Charleston Area is a nonprofit, grassroots organization dedicated to improving the quality of life and treatment for people who suffer from brain disorders, as well as their families and friends through support, advocacy, and education.

NAMI Charleston Area is about people working together to enable each individual with a brain disorder to live the best life possible. We are part of a 1,200 affiliate national network of more that 220,000 members. NAMI South Carolina consists of 17 local affiliates and 1,000 members.
